The NQSW outcome statements and guidance material

Underpinning this pilot programme is a set of outcomes which NQSWs will be expected to demonstrate by the end of their first year of employment.The outcome statements are arranged into two sections and are accompanied by detailed guidance material.

There will be core statements, which include outcome statements we propose need to be achieved by NQSWs working with children, young people, their families and carers.

There will also be negotiated statements, which include outcomes that are related to an individual's specific role and work setting. We propose that each NQSW is expected to demonstrate at least two of the negotiated outcome statements before the end of their first year of employment.
